We consider a method of generating functions for systems with constraints. As an examples, we present several integrable models: the billiard mappings and the symplectic billiard mapping within ellipsoid, discrete geodesic flow and the classical Heisenberg magnetic spin chain model (i.e., discrete Neumann system) on Stiefel manifolds.
